![]() ![]() Far more important things to delay one's life in this World. ![]() My suggestion, as it's only a short period, is whistle, make a cuppa coffee, or just stare out of the window instead of sitting just waiting. I believe the "problem" lies in how the phone stores photo image files - I find they have to be searched for when copying as never in the same place so would assume, Faststone has the same procedure to perform. Sorry I cannot help but I always transfer (well, copy) files from my phone to the hard drive on a regular basis, although all are pied to google photos. Why is this delay happening? Any way to eliminate it? Then Faststone lists the images and clicking the "OK" button (I forget the exact name of the button), Faststone goes down the list and shows "downloaded" (or something like that) until all of the images are downloaded. Then a progress bar appears and it can take a long time for Faststone to find all of the images in the smart phone. Note that after the "download photos" window pops up, I can enter parameters to download "*.jpg+*.png" and click the start download button. Is this normal for Faststone? Is there a way to eliminate the long delay after clicking "download photos"? Is it a Win10 problem? Tested using a Samsung Note 5 to a Toshiba laptop running Win10 and the delay happens. Tested using my Samsung On5 phone to a new Asus All-In-One PC running Win10 and the delay happens. Tested this using my Samsung On5 phone to my Dell XPS-8900 PC running Win10 and the delay happens. Then the "download photos' window pops up to allow starting the download. When I connect a cell phone to the PC and click "download photos", there is about a 45 second delay where nothing appears to be happening. There is a "download photos" option in Faststone Image Viewer. ![]()
